As a mental health counselor, I can not recommend this curriculum enough! Navigate is a great resource to help aid in emotional healing and spiritual freedom. Participants will gain knowledge and tools to help combat faulty belief systems and negative coping mechanisms that bind us. This curriculum also provides understanding of how to heal from life’s wounds and practical steps on how to surrender control back to God.
We use this tool in our Life-group meetings in our home and have seen great success in this environment. The tools, Biblical analogies, stretch assignments, group discussions and prayers help to combat the fear we can so easily operate under and find the freedom that God originally designed for us. I love how practical this curriculum is but yet how deep it is. With navigate you will find yourself on an emotional healing journey with the most trusted physician, Jesus. Navigate has proven to be a solid resource for discipleship! I was introduced to the material in a substance abuse/recovery setting and initially used it for weekly meetings with people pursuing sobriety. The discussion topics proved to stimulate impactful conversations that applied to everyone, not just people in the recovery community. I have successfully used the material in sobriety meetings, small groups, individual sessions, as well as discipleship groups for people who attend our church and those that do not. We are all recovering from something and Navigate helps to get to the root of those issues!
